KEY POINTS:
New Zealand-born Michael Chamberlain has paid tribute to his daughter Azaria - who disappeared, believed taken by a dingo at Uluru in 1980 - at his younger daughter Kahlia's wedding.
Kahlia was born in Darwin Hospital while her mother Lindy Chamberlain was serving a prison sentence for 9-week-old Azaria's murder.
Lindy Chamberlain, now Chamberlain-Creighton, who was also born in New Zealand, was convicted of Azaria's murder in 1982 but was exonerated six years later. The family has always insisted a dingo took the baby from the family's tent.
In a speech to more than 100 guests at Kahlia's wedding this month, Michael Chamberlain spoke of Azaria, noting that she would have been 27 years and 136 days old if she was alive today, New Idea magazine reports.
"But Kahlia was the most wanted little girl after we lost Azaria," the magazine quoted him as saying.
"My precious daughter has willpower and guts and passion.
"She was born in an abyss, and to come out of there and rise above it all is her truly shining achievement."
After her birth, Kahlia was fostered with the Hughes and Miller families until her mother was released when she was 3.
Now 25, Kahlia was escorted down the aisle by her father, foster fathers and stepfather to marry software developer Adam Mills, 26, in Malaysian Borneo.
Mr Chamberlain walked her part-way down the aisle, before Wayne Miller took her arm. He then handed her to Owen Hughes, who passed her to Lindy's husband Rick Creighton.
"My four dads walking me down the aisle was an emotional part of a hugely emotional day," Kahlia said. "They all mean a lot to me and have been there for me all my life."
Kahlia's brothers Aidan, 34, and Reagan, 31, both read passages, while half-sister Zahra Chamberlain, 11, Michael's daughter with wife Ingrid, was the flower girl.
Among her bridesmaids was Kahlia's foster sister and good friend Tiana Jade Dustow, nee Miller.
Mrs Miller weaned her daughter, Tiana, so that she could feed Kahlia.
