The best of New Zealand's future journalists, writers and artists were recognised at the annual College Herald prizegiving ceremony yesterday.
The New Zealand Herald supplement gives high school students the opportunity to express their views and show their work to a wide audience.
Each of the 20 editions produced during Terms 2 and 3 had a different theme which students were encouraged to work to.
In her final note in the publication, editor Mata Mihinui thanked students for their valuable contribution and praised the high standard of all the work submitted.
Winners came from schools throughout the upper North Island - including St Cuthbert's College, which had five "editor's choice" winners, and Hamilton Boys' High School, which had four.
