A 29-year-old Auckland man escaped uninjured after the truck he was driving rolled on the harbour bridge yesterday.
The small Arctic Ice truck rolled about 10.40am on the North Shore side of the northbound clip-on lanes.
Traffic was backed up to the Mt Wellington interchange as emergency services worked to clear bags of ice, petrol and oil from the road.
The driver freed himself from the vehicle but was taken to North Shore Hospital where he remained in a comfortable condition.
A spokesman for the ice-delivery service said the driver was "fine".
