Australian Herceptin ruling welcomed

The decision by the Australian Government to fund the breast cancer drug Herceptin has buoyed groups seeking funding for the drug in New Zealand.

Breast Cancer Advocacy Coalition spokeswoman Libby Burgess said the quick decision made by the Australians showed the strength of evidence supporting the drug.
