Australian conman hurt during Fiji arrest

Australian fugitive and conman Peter Foster has been taken to a Fiji hospital after being captured by authorities yesterday.

Fiji Television reported that the convicted fraudster injured himself trying to escape at Navua, near Suva.

Fiji police had been seeking Foster for several weeks over an alleged campaign to discredit the New Zealand developer of a resort.
