The Canberra cops shared a teaser video on Facebook last night, hinting that their running man video would drop today.
"Check back with us tomorrow, we're just polishing our dancing shoes," ACT police wrote.
The video was shared on Facebook by the Australian Federal Police, who took a swipe at Kiwi slang.
"Hey NZ Police Recruitment that dance was sweet as bro. However, Australia is a proud nation and we won't be outdone by you Kiwis. So we're teaming up with our ACT Policing colleagues to show you how it's really done. Check back with us tomorrow, it's gonna be choice!"

We can also expect a response from Northern Territory Police, possibly today, after their glum video hinted there was more to come.
Police on a tiny British island chain, the Isles of Scilly, won't be taking up the challenge, however.
In a Facebook post, Sergeant Colin "Dad Dance" Taylor noted New Zealand could draw on a supporting cast of thousands of officers and staff, "whereas we have a modest team of five and occasionally a cat".
"Our combined age on this small rock in the Atlantic (including feline years) is over 300. Ours is not to dance or body pop ever since the thespian PC Mat 'Flashdance' Collier left these shores several years ago. When we do so, we now do levity in the medium of cake."
Mr Taylor wished New Zealand Police the very best with their recruitment drive.
"It certainly is a remarkable career even if you have to do it upside down dancing on the ceiling."
