Australian broadcast journalist Anthony Flannery has been named Television New Zealand''s new head of news and current affairs.
Mr Flannery is currently managing editor of Nine Network's A Current Affair programme.
He replaces Bill Ralston, who resigned from TVNZ earlier this year.
