KEY POINTS:
A man charged with murdering south Auckland woman Rowena Kopara earlier this year will go on trial in August next year.
Antony James Jenson, 45, a driver of Papatoetoe, will stand trial in the High Court in Auckland on August 25 next year charged with Ms Kopara's murder.
Ms Kopara's naked body was found on January 28 by a motorcyclist who had stopped at a layby near the Waikato town of Morrinsville. She was last seen alive eight days earlier.
Crown prosecutor Richard Marchant said the trial was likely to last two weeks.
