The ninth Auckland Lantern Festival is being held at Albert Park in the central city this weekend.
One of Auckland's most popular summer events, it features hundreds of unique and beautiful lanterns, including brand new designs from China, to bring Chinese New Year celebrations to a glowing finale.
There are also a host of markets and stalls, crafts and fortune-telling for a fun night out.
