The White Pages will not longer be delivered across Auckland and residents will have to "opt-in" if they want to receive it under pilot scheme.
The trial was driven by a change in behaviour and feedback from consumers, Yellow chief executive Chris Armistead said.
"Our job at Yellow is to move with the times and do whatever we can to help Kiwis find the information they want, wherever, whenever and however they're searching, be that online, mobile or via a book.
A Nielsen survey commissioned by company revealed 75 per cent of Auckland residents agreed there should be a choice to receive the White Pages on request.
