Auckland Zoo's giraffe Zuri is on the home stretch of an incredible journey to her new home in Wellington, having just passed through Paekakariki on the way to Porirua.
UPDATE: Zuri has now reached Wellington.
"It went by in such a flash. I was going to give the driver the old right hand indicator, the truckie's hello, but it went by too fast for me."
The calf's road trip will end when she joins mother and daughter giraffes Tisa and Zahara in the capital.
Earlier today, the 1-year-old peeked out the top of her crate as she was driven along State Highway 1, greeted by many excited Kiwis along the way.
