An Auckland woman has been charged with abandoning two children, one of them aged 14 months old at the time.
The woman is accused of "unlawfully abandoning a child under the age of 6 years old" on September 22, 2007, and again on August 22 this year.
The first child was 14 months old and the second was 4 years old.
The 34-year-old woman is also charged with knowingly using forged documents, namely Auckland District Health Board medical documents and a birthing document, to obtain a service.
She also faces a charge of stealing a Chinese passport.
