A woman who died in a two-car crash in Waikato on Saturday was a 62-year-old from Auckland.
Police today confirmed Sharon Lesley Grey died after the crash on State Highway 27, near the Tatuanui roundabout.
Grey died while being taken to hospital via helicopter. A second person suffered moderate injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
Police are asking that anyone who saw a silver Mitsubishi station wagon being driven on SH29 from Tauranga towards Waikato prior to the crash, to contact Hamilton Police on 07 858 6200.
