Auckland wharfies are now set to strike for two full weeks.
The Maritime Union has today issued its second week-long strike notice to take effect from March 2.
This will flow on from the one week full strike notice that's due to start on February 24.
President Garry Parsloe says the union has shown it's prepared to negotiate to find a solution, but the port company isn't.
He says any strike action can be lifted if port management returns to negotiations.
