The University of Auckland has again been ranked among the world's top 50 universities in global rankings to be published by the Times Higher Education Supplement.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stuart McCutcheon, said the university was pleased to maintain its top 50 ranking.
"This ranking is a tribute to the quality and commitment of all our staff," he said. Otago University (114th equal) and Canterbury University (188th equal), were placed in the top 200 for 2007.
