Police work to get to the bottom of tragic Sydney mall stabbings, why a mega tunnel could be built in Wellington and Iran-Israel relations go from bad to worse in the lates.

Traffic on the Auckland Harbour Bridge is back to normal after an earlier breakdown in a middle southbound lane caused delays.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency reported the issue just before 8am.

“A breakdown is blocking the middle lane [of the three right lanes], southbound, on the harbour bridge.

“Pass with care and expect delays until cleared.”

The vehicle was moved and the lane cleared about 8am.
