Police are investigating the armed robbery of an Auckland TAB.
An Auckland police spokesman told NZPA the man robbed the Epsom TAB on Queen Mary Avenue before 9pm yesterday.
The man was wearing a yellow hoodie with grey polka dots and went in with a pistol, put a bag on the counter and demanded cash, the spokesman said.
The man is described as Maori, in his late teens or early twenties. The offender took off on foot heading towards Gillies Avenue.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
