A West Auckland police station is on lockdown because of a bomb scare.
A member of the public brought an unknown object that he'd dug up in his garden to the Henderson station and a police spokesperson says the nature of the object meant they had to evacuate the station, and block off nearby roads.
The bomb squad is on the way, and expected to arrive any minute now.
