Auckland Police are hunting a man who dragged a woman to the ground in Papakura bush, in a brazen daylight attack.
The 33-year-old woman was walking through Kirks Bush yesterday afternoon when she was grabbed by a man, who dragged her backwards for about 10 metres before she was thrown to the ground.
After a struggle, she managed to break free.
The man fled towards Great South Road.
Police say the attack left the woman distressed and frightened and they need to apprehend the man as soon as possible.
