APN (the Herald's parent company) is committed to help grow New Zealand's musical talent, and to provide opportunity for Aucklanders to appreciate world-class performances. We see the Premier Series, which attracts leading conductors and soloists from around the world to perform with the orchestra, as a way of achieving both of these objectives.
