Two men who were shocked by 11,000 volt power lines in Mt Eden, Auckland, on Friday afternoon remain in Middlemore Hospital.
Both are in a stable condition but one is in intensive care and the other in the hospital's burns unit.
The pair were putting up flagpoles on Normanby Rd when one of the poles on the back of their truck fell on to the live power lines.
The Department of Labour is investigating.
