Three men accused of murder were released on bail today after their trial was aborted.
The three deny murdering south Auckland father of seven, Rodney Tenamu, 32.
He died two days after a fight in the carpark outside the Burger King restaurant in Papatoetoe, south Auckland, in June last year. Witnesses told police about 10 people were fighting and using knives and steel bars as weapons.
Justice John Priestley called off the trial at the High Court in Auckland today after hearing evidence about the admissibility of evidence.
He rescheduled the trial for July 2 next year.
