South Auckland motorists found themselves in a bit of a sticky patch this afternoon when a truckload of PVA glue fell onto the road.
The load of PVA glue fell from the back of a truck onto the intersection of Lambie Drive and Cavendish Drive in Manukau shortly after one.
A fire spokesman said about 20 kilograms of the adhesive spilled onto the road and took council workers and fire crew about an hour to clean up as police diverted traffic.
He said they used a bit of sand to absorb the sticky substance.
The spokesman said the road was now all clear.
