The two Auckland offenders who assaulted and robbed a man of his car at Tauranga's Kingsview Apartments have been jailed for four years and six months and three years respectively.
Conrad Oscar Rewita, 30, and Teepee Snow Laison, 34, were sentenced in Tauranga District Court today, after earlier pleading guilty to a joint charge of robbery.
The robbery occurred in the early hours of May 10 this year after the pair approached three men who were getting into a Toyota Corolla, and after assaulting two of the group, Rewita and Laison fled pursued by police.
