Auckland man faces firearms charges

A 28-year-old Auckland man faces firearms charges after an incident on the North Shore yesterday.

Police were called about 4pm to a house in Forrest Hill where the man had allegedly presented a firearm.

A second man in the house walked outside after officers arrived and the incident was quickly resolved, police said. The armed offenders squad was not involved.
