Emergency services in Auckland are rushing to treat a 70-year-old man who was crushed by an elevator.
Ambulance communications team leader Brett Tobeck said services were called to a St Heliers address shortly after 2:20pm.
"The elevator came down on the patient. The patient is no longer trapped."
The 70-year-old man had back and chest injuries from the accident, he said.
