A man living at an Auckland boarding house last year is not the man arrested in relation to London terrorist attacks, police said yesterday.
A member of the public reported that a man living at a Mt Albert guest house a year ago could have been suspect Yasin Hassan Omar, a 24-year-old Somali.
Assistant Commissioner Peter Marshall said the lodger was arrested on unrelated matters during his stay here.
His prints were checked against Omar's and Interpol confirmed they were two separate people.
