Auckland local body politician Warren Flaunty will be sentenced next year for careless driving causing the death of 34-year-old motorcyclist Blair Titmus in April.
Flaunty pleaded guilty last month but there was some dispute over his culpability which has now been resolved.
An amended summary of facts was presented to Judge Lisa Tremewan when he appeared briefly in the Waitakere District Court yesterday.
The judge directed Flaunty to take part in a restorative justice conference before he is sentenced next March 13.
Flaunty sits on local boards for Rodney, Upper Harbour and Henderson and is a member of Waitemata District Health Board and Waitakere Licensing Trust.
