A person has been critically hurt in a hit and run in West Auckland overnight.
Emergency teams were called to Railside Ave in Henderson about 12.25am today after a car hit the person and did not stop.
The person remains in hospital in a critical condition, police said.
Investigating police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the hit and run, who has not yet spoken to them.
That included “anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist our inquiries”, police said.
