A woman has serious injuries following a police pursuit which ended in a crash on an on-ramp to a South Auckland motorway, police say.
The woman was injured in the 6.30pm crash on the northbound on-ramp of State Highway 20B.
She was trapped by the wreckage and had to be freed by firefighters.
Three other people in the vehicle received minor injuries and all four occupants were taken to Middlemore Hospital.
The seriously hurt woman is in a stable condition.
