Auckland flights again delayed by fog

Fog was causing problems at Auckland Airport this morning.

Take-offs and landings were delayed by dense low cloud, which caused three in-bound international flights to be diverted.

Passengers flying in from Los Angeles, Rarotonga and Honolulu were diverted to Wellington.

Several domestic flights were cancelled, but the airport said the fog was lifting and passengers would be re-booked onto flights later in the day.

The airport said check-in operations were running normally.
