Auckland firefighters were kept busy yesterday with a fire at the Pukekohe Railway Station and another at a Henderson factory.
The railway fire, believed to have started in the switch room, quickly spread to the upper floor just before 11am.
Lines in both directions were closed while firefighters battled the blaze, which caused no major damage.
One factory staff member was treated for smoke inhalation after the Huhtamaki disposable packaging factory in Henderson caught fire.
The blaze, confined to the roof void, was fought by more than 40 firefighters.
