Firefighters have brought under control a large blaze at a factory in the Auckland suburb of Avondale.
The warehouse on Fremlin Pl, off Rosebank Rd, was well alight when firefighters were called about 4.45pm.
Fire Service northern communications shift manager Steve Smith said tonight the fire was "pretty much under control''.
Nine fire trucks tackled the blaze at its height.
It was not known what business occupied the 200m by 50m warehouse but it was not thought to contain hazardous materials.
