A plane coming from Singapore and due to land in Auckland later tonight has been diverted to Darwin for a passenger to receive medical assistance.
An Auckland Airport spokeswoman said the flight, number NZ281, was due to land in Auckland at 11.40pm.
The flight is a code share operated by Air New Zealand.
A spokeswoman for Air New Zealand said the flight was diverted so a passenger could receive medical attention.
"It's expected to refuel and carry on to Auckland and is expected to arrive tomorrow morning," she said.
