People are being warned to look out for toxic sea slugs on all beaches in the Auckland region, after one was found on the shores of the Manukau Harbour.
A sea slug was found on Cornwallis Beach this week, it's currently being tested for the presence of tetrodotoxin, found in sea slugs washed up on North Shore beaches this year.
There has been no evidence of any other slugs at the beach.
But, the Auckland Regional Council is warning that children and pets should be closely supervised on all Auckland beaches.
