A good cuppa and useful tips on everything from cooking to legal advice were on offer at the Ageing with Attitude expo on Monday.
Hundreds of people visited more than 40 stalls and attended a variety of workshops in the Masterton Town Hall event.
The expo was organised by Masterton Safe and Healthy Community Council (MSHCC), Wairarapa Organisation for Older Persons (WOOPs) and Masterton District Council as a celebration for International Day of Older Persons.
MSHCC manager Sandy Ryan said the day was important to recognise older people in the community.
"One of the things that we don't do is recognise the huge resource we have with people who are retired," she said. "We do so much to other sectors and it's easy to overlook this sector."
