Police are seeking public help to solve the mystery behind a valuable postage stamp collection found three years ago.
Two stamp albums, containing a number of valuable stamps, found at a Dunedin address in 2007 had not been claimed, said Senior Sergeant Craig Brown.
One album included First Day Covers dating back to the 1940s, addressed to a couple who may have lived in Lower Hutt or Trentham, while the other was a black Flying Eagle brand album.
Mr Brown appealed to anyone with knowledge of the albums or their owners to contact them.
