Rebecca Moore is the 17th New Zealand athlete to meet selection criteria for the Commonwealth Games at Melbourne in March.
Moore, of Canterbury, finished third in the Milan marathon in Italy in a time of 2h 36m 31s, 29s under the Games qualifying time.
Other athletes who have achieved a Games selection target are: James Dolphin 200m, Jason Stewart 800m, Adrian Blincoe 1500m, Paul Hamblyn 1500m, Nick Willis 1500m and 5000m, Michael Aish 10,000m, Craig Barrett 50km walk, Tony Sargisson 50km walk, Kimberley Smith 5000m and 10,000m, Angela McKee high jump, Melina Hamilton pole vault, Chantal Brunner long jump, Valerie Vili shot put, Beatrice Faumuina discus, Liza Hunter-Galvan marathon, Fiona Crombie 3000m steeplechase, men's 4x100m relay team (Dallas Roberts, David Falealili, Dolphin, Chris Donaldson).
