At least one dead after Hobsonville crash

At least one person has died in a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Auckland today.

The crash happened on State Highway 18 or Hobsonville Road, a northern police communications spokesman said.

The road has been blocked and diversions have been put in place.

Southbound traffic were being diverted into Wallingford Way and were to follow further directions to rejoin SH18 south of the accident scene.

Northbound traffic were either being directed into Brigham Creek Rd or Williams Rd, the spokesman said.
