A man assaulted at a Queenstown nightclub last weekend remains in an induced coma and could be left with life-long health issues, police say.
At about 3am on Saturday, Queenstown man Jordan Kees Sinke, 26, and another patron at Subculture night club had a scuffle which left Mr Sinke unconscious on the floor.
About 30 people were in the bar at the time, and police have talked to a number of witnesses, Detective Lisa Watt said.
"We have received some good information but we are still keen to talk with people who were in the bar around that time," Ms Watt said.
"This is a serious assault which could potentially have a life-changing impact for Jordan. We are very keen to hear from anyone who has any information that might help us in the inquiry."
