Two charges against All Black flanker Adam Thomson of assaulting a female were thrown out at a depositions hearing in Hastings District Court today.
Thomson had been charged with assaulting TVNZ children's programme presenter Joanna Holley after the pair attended a wedding in Havelock North last December.
But after hearing evidence from Holley and one other witness, whose name was suppressed, Justices of the Peace John Cameron and Alison Thomson said the evidence was insufficient to warrant putting the accused on trial.
