An Israeli tourist allegedly stubbed a cigarette out on the face of a bar worker - three days after stripping off to use an ATM machine.
The 31-year-old appeared in Hamilton District Court yesterday charged with assault with intent to injure, accused of extinguishing a cigarette on the cheek of a bar worker in Coromandel township.
The woman spent Friday night in Waikato Hospital's mental health unit and has been remanded there until reappearing in court tomorrow.
