Police have charged a 61-year-old man with assault after a photographer was allegedly pushed at the Pukekohe V8s over the weekend.
The man will appear in the Pukekohe District Court today.
Video of the alleged assault was circulated online this week.
It appeared to show a well-known racing identity pushing over a photographer. The photographer appeared to lose consciousness after hitting his head.
