KEY POINTS:
An Auckland bank was robbed yesterday by a man who ran off after being handed some cash.
Inspector Donovan Clarke, of North Shore Police, said about 1.30pm a man entered the ASB branch at Mairangi Bay, approached a teller and handed over a note demanding cash.
The man is described as male, Caucasian, wearing a black motorcycle helmet, black jacket and pants. The helmet had a white stripe.
