An example of the new Fiat 500 has sold for $420,000 in a British auction, with artwork on its body panels by English artist Tracey Emin.
The 500 is one of four specially designed and painted examples of the supermini created last year.
It was sold at charity auction in which donors to the Absolute Return for Kids charity raised $51 million for children at a gala reception at London's Greenwich Royal Naval College.
Entitled Dark, Dark, Dark, Emin's 500 was among lots which included diamonds, a speaking role in actress Uma Thurman's next film Eloise in Paris, use of a luxury yacht, fashion pieces and other works of art.
