KEY POINTS:
Police need help from the public to track down those responsible for two suspicious fires in the Coromandel town of Thames at the weekend.
They are yet to determine if both fires were lit by the same person, but have not ruled it out.
The first fire badly damaged the Hauraki Aero Club building and the second gutted a bungalow in Queen St.
Fire and police investigators are examining both scenes.
Detective Alan Lee said police needed public help to find the people responsible for the attacks.
