Arsonist lights 14 fires in town

A series of arson attacks in the small Waikato town of Morrinsville has kept police and firefighters busy overnight.

The arsonist lit 14 fires around midnight in rubbish bins and at eight buildings, including Nottingham Castle, the ANZ Bank and the Westpac Bank, the Warehouse and Farmlands.

Police said no one was hurt and none of the buildings was destroyed.
