Two further arrests have been made in relation to the gunpoint robbery of a Palmerston North dairy six days ago
Police said today that a 20-year-old man and 15-year-old youth, both from Palmerston North, had been charged with the aggravated robbery of the Gloriana dairy in suburban Highbury last Sunday.
Four masked men burst into the dairy and held up staff up with a gun while they stole the till.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and faced the same charge and inquiries were continuing in respect of the fourth offender, Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Sheridan said.
He said the weapon - an air rifle - used in the robbery had been recovered in bushes a couple of blocks from the dairy.
The till and contents had not yet been located.
