Four Wairarapa men have been arrested in connection with an aggravated robbery of a Masterton house earlier this month.
The men, aged 19, 23, 27 and 29, face one charge each of aggravated robbery and are due to appear in the Masterton District Court this afternoon.
On September 2 at about 11.35pm, it is alleged three masked men armed with rifles and a jemmy bar burst into a Worksop Rd address and confronted the occupants, demanding cash.
Officer in charge of the Wairarapa CIB, Detective Senior Sergeant Sean Hansen, said police executed a number of search warrants around 5.30am this morning.
"Seven of these were executed at Masterton addresses and one in Carterton."
He said the four men were arrested at three separate addresses - two properties in Masterton and one in Carterton.
Detective Senior Sergeant Hansen said the arrests follow a large amount of investigative work over the past few weeks and help from the community.
