Two people have been arrested this morning following an incident at a Cook Street address on Monday afternoon where a group of men entered the premises claiming sovereignty of the location, police said.
The 66 and 50-year-old men are now facing charges of Trespass, Forcible Entry and Assault and will appear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow.
The two were from part of a group of uniformed men that entered the Tournament Parking office at City Works Depot, a business and entertainment complex on Cook Street, on Monday afternoon.
Footage of the incident was uploaded on the YouTube channel of activist and self-proclaimed "surrogate king" John Wanoa.
The video showed staff being forcefully removed by the men with "Federal Marshal" emblazoned on their shirts.
